I thought hiking would be a reset—just me, trees, and the sound of boots on dirt. But halfway up, I realized I was carrying every unfinished thought from home. The trail was empty, except for a couple arguing about snacks and a crow that wouldn’t stop following me. I kept checking my phone for signal, like someone might need me, or maybe I just wanted proof I was still connected to something. At the summit, the view was supposed to be the reward. Instead, I felt exposed, like the wind could see right through me. Turns out, you can’t out-walk your own head. But at least the crow finally left me alone. #Travel #HikingTruths #TravelUnfiltered
