Most ethical hunter ever? 😂

I enjoy being in the woods and If I shot something it was a bonus. Plus I always ate whatever I shot. For me it was the adventure, not the kill.

I’m at the age where I’d rather sit the stand and watch animals. I’ve harvested enough deer in my lifetime, it’s got to be a really unique buck or I or someone I know needs meat in the freezer. To me, that’s ethical. I’m not out there for just the kill, I don’t mind a unpunched tag.

I have seen deer stand 30yards from feeder !! Big bore game hunter , yeah right.

I'm ethical now. I use 1 million candle power light rather than 4 million 😆

In my case, I've been a successful hunter for over 50 years, and I enjoy being in the woods more than I do "the mess of success". anything that walks by me now will have to present me with the near-perfect opportunity for shot placement, game quality, and most importantly, time to decide whether or not I want to knock it down, or just enjoy the encounter.

I am now disabled to the point carrying out a big deer would be impossible, and might kill me. So, if I was to shoot one it would need to be where I could load it right there, or within 20 yards or more.. still love to hunt.. need and want the meat.. but can't and NO, I will not kill just for a little bit of meat that I can carry, like some do for just the backstrap.. I have never shot just for horns either.. cant eat that..

Hunting in Idaho is fair chase only! No bait or plots! You can use blinds! You can’t even hunt in close proximity to salt blocks dumped by ranchers!

Is why I choose to live in the country without hoa,deed restrictions, and any other kind of restrictions. There’s not even building inspections. Completely unincorporated.

I shoot up amongst the birds. 😆
