Lakers fan here. As much as I hate to admit, Bird passes the ‘eye test’. Bird may not have been athletic, but what he did utilize the most was the organ between his ears. Smart plays demonstrating veteran leadership always beat athleticism.

Bird was a better rebounder and defender. That the big difference Curry was a slightly better passer. So I got Bird as the better player. However Curry has had a longer career and played more games.

I suggest you people watch the documentaries they have on YouTube for free, the goats of the nba, magic, jordan, they will all let you know the winner of this argument. bird is the greatest to ever step on the court, he couldn't jump 5 in off the ground and that was God's way of leveling the playing field so other players had a chance, according to Charles barkley. y'all wont watch it because you'll cut it off as soon as you see how great he was because you can't get past that a blue-eyed blonde haired man dominated everyone and told them what he was going to do the entire game and there was nothing they could do to stop him, magic Johnson bestowed him a jersey with the inscription to the greatest basketball player of all time, or whoever lived, I'm paraphrasing but it was beautiful, you youngsters need to know who Larry Bird was, he was basically God and Steph Curry takes 100 3 pointers per game, Larry was very selective about the ones he took.
