Amtrak unveiled it's sleek, new design of high speed passenger trains today at Washington Union Station. The service is called Amtrak Acela, and runs between Washington D.C. and Boston, MA, with stops in Philadelphia, Wilmington and New York City among others. These brand new cars and electric locomotives are replacing the previous Acela train sets that have been in service for over 20 years. The new Acelas are the fastest trains in The western hemisphere, with a top speed of 160 MPH. The trains include a lounge cafe car, and Amtrak also offers elegant meal service to First Class ticket holders. A lot of frequent travelers and commuters in the northeast are eager to get tickets on these sleek new trains!#TrainTravel #Transportation #WashingtonDC #Boston #NewTech #TravelNews #Innovation
