You won't believe the note my neighbor left on my car 😬 It's on a public street!

Shaking my head at some of the comments here. Yes, the street is a public place, and expecting to never have anyone park in front of your house is unrealistic, but sometimes some consideration for others would be nice. I'm elderly and have trouble walking and it is very difficult for me when someone parks right in front of my house, blocking the walk from the street to the main sidewalk, especially in winter.I do not have a driveway. This happens a lot, even though there are plenty of other places to park, including in front of their own house.

you can't park in front of anyone's house. it's their parking. not public.

I had a neighbor that called me because she was angry that we hadn’t kept the spot in front of our house available for her invalid friend. She was having a party and wanted us to accommodate her. Only my husband needed a flat surface to work on the car, so he used that spot. When she called. Irate, the next day, I simply said, “I am sorry I wasn’t able to help you, but what kept you from moving your car out of your driveway for her?”

I'm so glad I live in the country peaceful and quiet I have great neighbors even the ones that live further down the dirt road there all nice out here so glad it's better than living in apt complex where there's nothing but rude people with no respect for others

Im a truck driver. I just had a Karen tell me not to park in front of her house (on a public street). I tried ignoring her but she had rolled her garbage can out and put it in front of my truck. After I was done I pulled it up on the curb so I could move. She then came and yelled at me. I ended up cursing her out. She then started acting as she was the victim. Typical KAREN 🤣🤣

I live in a city/town where people have driveways or assigned parking spaces in front of their townhouses. Why does everyone park on the street?

We live on a quiet, respectable street. We all tend park in our driveways and only in front of our own homes. About 9 months ago the house to our left sold and the new owners had 5 vehicles. Instead of parking in front of their house they were parking two cars in front of my house forcing my daughter to park down the street or across the street when she got off work at 10pm. I gave them two weeks then explained my daughter gets off work late and asked if they could pull up some so she could park in front of our house. The owner didn't speak English very well, but his son did and translated. They now park in front of their house and we are good neighbors. Respect is everything!

I don’t care they can park wherever they want on the public street but just not blocking my driveway!

they didnt just ask to leave one spot, they wanted one for guests too. thats delusional.

It’s common courtesy not to park in front of other people’s houses!
