Returned for not being cuddly enough

people need to let a kitten adjust and not expect a kitty to meet their emotional needs

I adopted a rescue cat when she was 1. She had severe ptsd from where she was rescued from, she stayed in my room for the most of her life with me. She was put to sleep this past aug…. 3 or 4 months before that she came out to the rest of the house. She was adopted out 2 other times and brought back till i came and kept her. Just takes time and patience if you really want that pet and tons of love. My Lady was truly loved !! I miss her dearly

you have to be patient with your animals. it took my cat 2 years to put half her body on my thigh. now she wants to be on me all the time. take time give your animals room to build that bond.

My last adoption was of a blind since birth kitty. I gave it time and used my intuition. She's a happy well-adjusted cat. Blind animals, it turns out, have a lot to teach a human. Booboo has reinforced many positive behaviors in me, I'd like to think. All I wanted for her was a safe home and love. Believe me, she's given far more than I've given. She wants for nothing and all well deserves it. Lucky me.

these people need to adopt a stuffed animal...full-blown morons

same with puppies. You can't expect them to know what to do without experience in the world. Would you expect a newborn baby to act like an adult right after birth?

I have a rescue lil baby girl for 3 yrs roughly and she’s just now getting comfortable enough to make eye contact and be petted facing me instead of standing at arms length while doing it ready to run and hide . We were further along but we moved once and she became unsure again so we rebuilt her trust that it’s ok and even she leaves my room more often now .

That's so dumb and stupid for returning a fur baby to a shelter ( for not being cuddly enough)! All u had to do was give the baby some time to get use to u ! That's what I did with Miss Tiger

the ppl rehoming these furrbabies need to require a mental background check on whomever decides to adopt any animal...im not sorry for saying it either, theres a reason why there are so many animals being abused, neglected and put out on the street, some ppl are not spiritually inclined enough to know why GOD created these furrbabies, if they dont know then they cannot adopt....👍🙏💕
