Neighbor left this on my door but I do not have a dog😥

I live alone and don’t have a dog, so this note was a bit of a surprise. I’m usually gone for 12+ hours a day, and when I am home on weekends or at night, I never hear any barking. I left the note on the door with a reply saying it was the wrong apartment and also notified the office. My next-door neighbor says they haven’t heard anything either. Honestly, I’m not sure what’s going on here. #ApartmentLiving #ApartmentLife #DidThatHappen

Not a bot

I get the person who received the letter doesn’t have a dog. I’ll say this (just to vent)- I had neighbors who moved in across from me and literally from day one, their 2 small shih tzu dogs would bark incessantly for hours until they returned. It was an actual nightmare. Thankfully, they weren’t big partiers and were usually home at night. We lived in a 4-plex and had a stairwell that echoed. Their door was about 3 ft from my door.

Someone is trying to bait you to see What you have in your apartment and how long you are gone. looking to rob your place. Tell them you don't have a dog but do have cameras

probably just a neighbor who rather rent the unit you are in and trying to get you evicted so they can take over your unit i suggest get a nanny cam and record your unit while you are out for the 12+ hours therefore if any legal attempt is made you have supporting evidence for your defense.

My dog used to bark like an A hole all the time, until I bought a collar that beeps, buzzes, or shocks, depends on how you set it. Nobody wants to listen to a dog that yaps at every little thing.

You people telling how to kill dogs to stop barking are strange you do realize that killing animals is the first sign of serial killers. Then it will be people next. Must be a lot here. And someone doesn’t know how to spell poison. lol.

or...being devil's advocate......that person is sick and hearing things. people with alzheimers suffer an occurance called sundowners syndrome. sundown to morning can be a terrible time for them, seeing, hearing things, confusion and disorientation. so perhaps add this to list of possibilities since there are the only one hearing it. a visit or well check may be in order. 🙏
