I’m usually gone for 12+ hours a day, and when I am home on weekends or at night, I never hear any barking. I left the note on the door with a reply saying it was the wrong apartment and also notified the office. My next-door neighbor says they haven’t heard anything either. How to secretly report him without coming off as a complete snitch?I was on Airbnb looking for a specific accessible rental for my aunt and grandma when I found a listing for a unit in my own 250-unit rental building. This is a 1000% violation of our lease agreement and it makes my blood boil. We are all renters here and this is not a condo community. I hate Airbnb with a burning passion because it actively destroys local housing markets and makes apartments much more expensive for people who actually need to live here. It is not "mind your own business" it is corporate greed making our lives worse. I only used the site because my grandma is elderly and needed a house with specific accessibility for her vehicle. The guy is not my immediate neighbor above or below, so I do not know him personally. I absolutely want to report this to management and get this unit back into the actual housing pool. The problem is the smell comes through what I think is a shared bathroom duct. Some days it is so strong I feel like I’m standing in their living room while they light up. I am thinking about sliding a note under their door to let them know. I wrote one that is polite and not accusing them of anything but I’m not sure if it will come across the wrong way.
