Just Bought This Bright Green 18K Ring for $2.38 at the Thrift Store. Score!

The thing that made me grab it immediately was the little marking that says 18K inside the band. The stone itself looks like a really beautiful piece of chrysoprase. And the price? $2.38 USD. I swear, I almost fainted right there in the aisle. it's not electric plated it's marked stamped by official jeweler s stamp right now you must know that it's . you can also take a magnet to it if it doesn't stick you know it's real.

Interesting. Good find. I know jewelry. Looks like sterling silver. But only gold (would be white gold) would be marked 18k. Which means 75% gold. I bet it is hand made. Take to pawn shop. They are so nice about telling you its worth.

do not take anything gold to a pawn shop they rip you off. all jewelry stores pay you for the gold weight at about 70 percent of melt value. they will pay you like double what a rip off pawn shop will pay and thats a fact

it's not worth very much. at least you got it dirt cheap. scrap gold doesn't go for very much money. a pawn shop would ignore the stone.
