Where Did All the Hunters Go?

No where to hunt all the land being bought up and they don’t allow hunting but they can get a damage permit to spot light and kill them if you don’t allow hunting then you shouldn’t be allowed a damage permit

Mismanagement of our lands and wildlife means less land d to hunt and less game to take . The costs associated with hunting have become astronomical. Licenses, Geer , Transportation just to name a few nothing is cheap. Fishing is becoming less attractive also . Dollar for dollar it's much less expensive to shop at a supermarket at least you will go home with something. It's said that venison and fish filets are $ 20.00 a pound when to add in all the expenses . Licenses for game in Montana for example have gone up 45% from what they were in the 1990's add to that School Trust permits , permit if you want to take a 4x4 for Transportation. Most importantly are the laws that are on the books and you have to be a Philadelphia Lawyer to understand that trip you up and put you in a position to pay exorbitant fines and penalties not to mention Court Costs for violations. No hunting and fishing have become very expensive in every State .

I think a big reason is the cause of heart disease. Middle and older age people cannot do much of this no more cause of bad hearts and many doctors tell them don't be in cold weather no more, is why many people die from heart attacks from shoveling snow, cause of breathing the cold air. And I think younger people don't do it, cause so many of them don't have any patience and they expect to bag a trophy the first 5 or 10 minutes after they go out there.

fish and game are driving hunters away,they won't stop the nonresidents, causing overcrowding. then make you hunt within 1mile of private land, causing hunter, landowner conflict as a resident idaho hunter should be able to hunt on any public land during my general hunting seasons 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

well for one thing deer numbers are why down when you go into the woods and look for deer sign and you dont see any sign or deer you know that theres no deer .my would 5 yrs ago where covered with deer trails that where traveled so much that the vegetation was gone there where deer highways .now theres none there no deer tracks no deer sign the deer herd just have pockets of deer here or there and if your lucky you are in a pocket with deer .

a better question is where did all of the deer gone deer hunting sucks

take your rights then sell them back to you.

We're aging out, young folks not interested.

Less game equals less hunters.
