In 2015, Brock Turner (then a Stanford University swimmer) was convicted of sεxually assaulting an unconscious woman behind a dumpster on campus. He was found guilty on three felony counts. In 2004 (at age 16), Cyntoia Brown was convicted of first-dεgree murdεr and related charges for kiIIing 43-year-old Johnny Allen, who had solicited her for sεx. She was tried as an adult and sentenced to life in prison with eligibility for parole after 51 years. Her sentence was commuted by Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam in January 2019.
