Adopt Yo-Yo 🪀 This little 3 year old is a quirky guy, mostly friendly but has his rules and limits and wasn’t a fan of the vet or grooming, and really HATES leashes. But he gets along with other dogs and is happy doing his own thing being able to let in and out of a fenced yard. He’s alway twirling, dancing, smiling, and has to always have a toy in his mouth, a lot of fun! Blinky has healed up nicely from his eye surgery and is ready for a home! This sweet 8-10 year old senior Shih Tzu loves attention, has been getting along with other small mellow dogs in foster, and is always wagging his tail. He has dry eye and some scarring in his remaining eye and is on eye drops longterm but doesn’t have perfect vision in that eye either, though he navigates well. But not great depth perception with stairs and heights. He’s a pretty easy going guy overall although he likes to be left alone while eating and can be sensitive around his face after being used to his eye being painful for so long. He’s only 10lbs, neutered and updated on shots. Nala is available for adoption! 🐾 11 year old Nala came to FAWR after being at risk of euthanasia when her previous owner could no longer care for her. She is such a beautiful, loving older lady who will give hours of affection and head boops ❤️ Nala needs an understanding family, as she suffers from stress when travelling and when she’s confined to small spaces. She doesn't like being picked up but will tolerate it when necessary. Nala is on a gastrointestinal special diet. After a very rough start in a puppy mill, this sweet 2-year-old Shih Tzu has officially been cleared for adoption—and she’s making up for lost time in the best way. When Mattie first arrived, her entire back end was shaved due to painful scabs. But after a full exam and bloodwork (all normal!), this brave little girl is healing beautifully and absolutely thriving in her foster home. Mattie has discovered how wonderful love can be.
