Lilac is a tiny terrier mix who is basically joy wearing fur! This 4‑year‑old sweetheart showed up at the shelter looking a little rough around the edges, but don’t let that fool you — her personality has been fabulous from day one. 💖🐾Darla, Dory and Delaney were left abandoned in an alley with an adult Chihuahua whom we think could be mom. Everyone has been scooped up to safety. Pups have a soft fine coat and are about 6 months old and weigh between 4 - 5 lbs currently. They are sweet girls and will mature in the small breed range when full grown. We are guessing they could have some Havanese mixed in there somewhere. They are simply adorable and so happy now that they are rescued! You never know who or what you’re going to run into in a day in rescue! I was picking up Skye the husky girl from the vet and a person called me saying she just bought or rescued an 8 week old chiweenie puppy off a bad backyard breeder and that he wouldn’t eat or drink and was vomiting so I had her meet me at my vet for a parvo test and fecal test. No parvo. Yay! Just some roundworms which we dewormed so now Mr Bean is anxiously awaiting a new life now! This little 3lb puppy is so precious and snuggly and he wants nothing more than to be held. have no idea how big he will get but possibly 20lbs? Good with kids and pets. Rudy and Peanut are ready for adoption! Meet Rudy & Peanut! The tiniest bonded brothers with the biggest hearts… and a love story you can actually watch unfold every single day. Rudy (6 yrs, 9 lb imperial Shih Tzu) and Peanut (5 yrs, 5 lb imperial Shih Tzu) are completely inseparable. This isn’t just a “they like each other” situation — this is full-on soulmates. Where Rudy goes, Peanut follows. Where Peanut settles, Rudy is already curling up beside him. They nap cuddled together, wander the house side-by-side, and check in with each other constantly. If one disappears from view, the other will search the house until they’re reunited. They even soothe each other by gently licking faces and sucking on each other’s ears — it’s equal parts adorable and heart-melting. These boys came from a backyard breeder/hoarding situation and were severely matted when they entered rescue. Since then, they’ve been shaved down, cleaned up, and have truly blossomed in foster care.
