Boise State’s big coaching gamble

Boise State fans had high hopes when Andy Avalos, a former Bronco standout and proven defensive coordinator, returned as head coach in 2021. Bringing back a hometown favorite seemed like the perfect move to restore the team’s glory days. It’s interesting to see how much expectation we place on familiar faces to turn things around.
