Everything was going great until the sound cut out right when Dark Helmet reaches Mr. Radar. For about five minutes, the audience just sat there… in silence. But here’s the amazing part: since most people knew the movie by heart, they started doing the lines out loud themselves — syncing with the lip movements on screen. It turned into a hilarious, totally unexpected group performance. Eventually the screening got canceled, which sucked — but those five minutes?
