Bay Area Food|Please Push This Spicy Chicken Burger to the Divine Altar 🍔

🍔The Bird 📍 115 New Montgomery St, San Francisco, CA 94105 📍 406 Hayes St, San Francisco, CA 94102 ▫️As someone who doesn't often eat fast food, I am willing to make a trip to SF's downtown just for this spicy chicken burger! It deserves to be worshipped and should not be missed! ▫️I've been a fan for years and have ordered takeout from them several times during the pandemic. There isn't a single item I don't love! ▫️Fried Chicken Sandwich: A must-try! You can choose the level of spiciness, so if you can handle it, go for spicy! Experience the joy of juicy chicken bursting with spicy oil! It's absolutely heavenly! And the chicken is super tender and juicy! Highly recommended👌 ▫️Chicken Biscuit with Tots: A good combination with small and tasty biscuits and a side of tater tots. ▫️Naked Bird: Just fried chicken, you can choose the level of spiciness. It's already cut into pieces, making it easy to eat! It's so satisfying! If you don't like bread, you can order this directly! ▫️Fully Loaded: French fries topped with lots of cheese sauce and bacon crumbs. If you don't count calories, this is a taste bomb! It's so delicious 😭😭 Order it all! Curly fries are relatively bland, so I recommend getting this one! ▫️Hot Wings: You can buy them individually or in pairs. They are large wings with plenty of meat. Delicious! #BayAreaLife #BayAreaFood #WeekendInBayArea #Burgers #Foodie #FoodieDiaries #PopularFoodOnRedBook #MyFoodDiary #FastFood #SpicyChickenBurger

Chicken Liver Salad in a French Restaurant 😍

🥘 Mathilde French Bistro 📍 315 5th St, San Francisco, CA 94107 ▫️ This small French restaurant near my home has been standing for years and is always on the Michelin recommended list and various food review rankings. ▫️ I've been here a few times before the pandemic, and the impression has always been great. The portions are generous, the taste is rich, and it feels authentic! ▫️ Coming back after the pandemic, I ordered my favorite Scallop that I always get, and it's still delicious! This time, I tried their new dish, Chicken Liver Salad 🥗, and it's absolutely amazing! 🥹 It's so tasty that it brought tears to my eyes! Next time, I should just order two servings and have it as my main course! The chicken liver is so tender!!! The portion they gave is very generous, the plate is fully filled with chicken livers, hardly any green leafy vegetables can be seen 😂 ▫️ The duck leg is also a classic! If you love steak, their steak is also very good! ▫️ The dessert selection is not extensive, but the portion is generous. Sharing one dessert between two people is definitely enough 🤩 Truly a hidden gem of a French restaurant right at my doorstep! #GlobalFoodieSquad #MyFoodDiary #FoodieDaily #Foodie #FoodSharing #RedBookHotFood #MyFoodSecrets #FeedPhoneFirst #BayAreaFood #FrenchRestaurant #FrenchCuisine #BayAreaLiving

Most famous restaurant in SF Chinatown❤️‍🔥Is it worthy?

🌶️Yushiyuan Z&Y Restaurant @ Yushiyuan Sichuan Restaurant Z&Y 📍655 Jackson St, San Francisco, CA 94133 · ▫️Which is the most famous restaurant in San Francisco Chinatown? It must be this old but renowned Sichuan restaurant, Z&Y Restaurant. Although I have ordered takeout from them during the pandemic, this is my first time dining in, and I still love it! · Hotpot with Duck Blood and Tofu I'm craving it! I can only be fully satisfied with this! The duck blood has a smooth, tender, and crispy texture, without any fishy taste, and it's so satisfying to bite into! I love eating something warm when the weather is cold! The ingredients are incredibly rich: beef tripe, luncheon meat, wide noodles, seaweed, and more. Boiling Fish in Chili Oil A must-order for fish lovers! When this big pot came out, it was truly stunning! It has such a substantial feeling! The aroma hits your senses, with a layer of spicy chili and the fragrance of the oil drizzled over it. The fish inside is tender and mouthwatering! Garlic Pork Slices It exudes the luxury of a five-star hotel, with exquisite presentation and rolled cucumber slices and pork. Dip it in the sauce and pour it over the top, it still has the same taste but with new and layered textures. Five Combination Platter: Mouth-Watering Chicken, Spicy Beef, Cold Cucumber Salad, Sesame Oil Bamboo Shoots, and Pepper Hua Hua Pork Tripe A combination of the most popular five cold dishes. My personal favorite is the 'Pepper Hua Hua Pork Tripe,' I've ordered it several times for takeout! It's so vibrant green in color, and I was initially worried it might be a disappointment, but it turned out to be delicious, with tender pork tripe stir-fried! The Spicy Beef is also their secret recipe, perfect for taking it home and enjoying it while binge-watching. Signature Camphor Tea Smoked Duck Definitely a must-order for meat lovers. The portion of half a duck is very friendly, leaving room in your stomach to enjoy even tastier dishes~ Mapo Tofu Their Mapo Tofu is truly flavorful, and the tofu itself is not bland. The seasoning for the Mapo Tofu is dense, but it's a bit too spicy for rice. Iron Plate Shredded Cabbage If you want some vegetarian options, I recommend the Iron Plate Shredded Cabbage. The combination of vegetarian and non-vegetarian ingredients can help neutralize the spiciness of Sichuan cuisine. Red Oil Dumplings Among the main dishes, the Red Oil Dumplings are a must-have. The dumplings from this restaurant are as big as fists. One dumpling is equivalent to three. They are filled with fragrant chili oil, vinegar, and a hint of sweetness. Dan Dan Noodles Lastly, a bowl of Dan Dan Noodles, after all, it is the leading actress in Sichuan cuisine. They really give you plenty of sauce! After each noodle is coated with the sauce, the heavy flavor stimulates your taste buds. I really want to eat this every day! · ▫️This restaurant has been popular in San Francisco for a long time, and it is still as hot as ever. There are no disappointments; each dish caters perfectly to the taste buds. After all, maintaining consistent quality for ten years is truly rare. When it comes to Sichuan cuisine among the countless restaurants, I still choose this one. #BayAreaFood #BayAreaLife #GlobalGastronomyTeam #WhereToGoInBayAreaOnWeekends #SichuanCuisine #LoveSpicySichuanCuisine #HiddenGemRestaurantShare

Bay Area Hot Pot | Seapot New Store is Really Affordable‼️

🍲 Seapot 📍 383 Gellert Blvd, Daly City, CA 94015 ⚠️ Disclaimer: Emphasizes affordability, average meat quality for hot pot, decent for grilled meat, okay for mushroom-based hot pot broth, but spicy pot is too mild. ▫️ The Daly City store has been open for a few weeks. When it first opened, I went there for a second visit. The new store's spaciousness and gorgeous decoration attracted me. It's really luxurious for a hot pot restaurant. The rotating conveyor belt is a unique feature, and the portions are small, which is perfect for trying different ingredients. Currently, only the large space is open, and there seem to be private rooms, but they are not currently available. ‼️ The prices are really affordable! It's $23.99 for weekdays at lunchtime, and an additional $5 💰 per person for grilled meat. Even so, it's still much cheaper than many other buffets nowadays. 👍 ▫️ The first time I came, I only had hot pot, and their meat for hot pot wasn't that good. Only one or two types of meat were decent, the rest were too dry. Not recommended. But their grilled meat and seafood are pretty good. I love their Garlic Shrimp, it's delicious when grilled! 😋 ▫️ The self-serve area for side dishes and sauces is abundant, with freshly fried sesame balls and spring rolls available. I especially liked the fresh raw eggs they provided. They also have a good variety of seasonal fresh fruits. It's very thoughtful that they provide butter 🧈 for the grilled meat that you can take at any time. ▫️ The tables at the restaurant are really too wide, making conversation quite difficult and tiring. The chairs are connected to the back of the customers sitting behind, making it easy for them to bump into your chair while moving. ▫️ There's a waitlist registration at the entrance, and the wait is quite fast. I waited for about 10-15 minutes on both visits. #GlobalFoodieSquad #BayAreaFood #FoodDiary #FoodieLife #Foodie #FoodExploration #WeekendFoodie #JoinMe #FoodieShare #MyHiddenGems #FoodieSpotting #HotPot #GrilledMeat #TrendyHotPotRestaurant

Bay Area Food | Drinking a Cup of Coconut Milk Cloud ☁️

☁️ZERO& 📍 437 Hayes St, San Francisco, CA 94102 ▫️Finally checked in at ZERO& in San Francisco! This cup of cloud-like beverage that has taken social media by storm, I really wanted to come and try it out! The combination of coconut milk and butterfly pea flower creates an atmosphere reminiscent of the sky, with an additional cloud-shaped decoration that adds to its aesthetic appeal. I recommend asking for less sugar, as it can be a bit too sweet. ▫️The Thai Tea croissant was average, but their garlic bread is delicious, worth trying next time. #WhereToGoInBayArea #GlobalEatDrinkTeam #BayAreaLiving #FoodRecommendation #BayAreaFood #FoodSharing #ExploreLocal #BayAreaExploration #BayAreaMilkTea #InstagrammableDrinks #SocialMediaTrends #PopularBayAreaMilkTea #FollowAndYouWon'tRegretIt

Bay Area Food | A festive Chinese New Year celebration 🧧 Let's eat Peking duck together

🦆 YH Beijing 颐和北京 📍 500 Haight St, San Francisco, CA 94117 ▫️ We made a dinner gathering with friends on the first day of the Lunar New Year and chose this American-style Chinese restaurant mainly for the Peking duck! It's necessary to make a reservation for the duck in advance, and they usually serve it three ways: roasted duck, duck bone soup, and minced duck lettuce wraps. The portion size is quite good! ▫️ Since our dining companions are from different countries, we opted for a fusion restaurant where the Peking duck is especially good! The other dishes have more of an American-Chinese taste, like this spicy tofu 🤣 it almost seems like a joke; the walnut shrimp is also very good! The shrimp is super large! The other dishes are not bad, just don't judge them based on authentic Chinese standards. ▫️ Their various kinds of xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) are pretty good. We ordered the crab meat, spicy, and black truffle ones, and they tasted decent! Nothing outstanding, but still tasty. The spicy one is only slightly spicy, so even those who can't handle spice can safely enjoy it; the black truffle flavor is very faint; the crab meat one was my favorite. If you're a small group, they have a platter with different flavors that you can order. ▫️ Finally, it's the Year of the Rabbit! We also ordered steamed buns in the shape of rabbits. These bunny buns are really chubby 🤣🤣🤣 chubby bunnies 🐰 Wishing everyone a prosperous Year of the Rabbit! 🧧 🧧 The restaurant's Chinese New Year ambiance is truly amazing! Various hanging decorations, small ornaments, and you instantly feel like you're in the Lunar New Year! Such a festive atmosphere, love it! The restaurant was packed that night, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. #GlobalFoodieTeam #FoodDiaries #PekingDuck #MyFoodJournal #Tonight'sDinner #DateNightRestaurant #HiddenGemRestaurant #WeekendFoodAdventure #MyFoodSecrets #BayAreaFood #BayAreaLiving #ChineseNewYear #OverseasLiving

Fujiwara Ice Powder in San Francisco 💚

🧋Fujiwara Tea Shop 📍 354 Clement St, San Francisco, CA 94118 ▫️I knew before that there was a ice powder shop in San Francisco, today I went to the museum to see the exhibition, and specifically went to try it on the way back, unexpectedly it was pretty good! ▫️They have ice powder, drinks, ice cream, and layered cut cakes and such. The variety is quite diverse, not just selling ice powder alone. There aren't too many options within each category, approximately six or seven flavors of ice powder. 💛Passion Fruit Mango Ice Powder Super refreshing! This flavor is very suitable for summer. The mango pieces are too big to be sucked up by the straw, you have to open the lid to enjoy. 🤎Traditional Brown Sugar Ice Powder Closer to the traditional flavor of ice powder, the combination and pairing of brown sugar is still the most classic, there are many toppings inside! Raisins, crushed peanuts, red beans, mixed together, that's the taste! In the end, if you want to eat all the toppings, you have to open the lid and enjoy them 😂 ▫️With the sunset glow, the ice powder looks so beautiful! I also want to try other flavors, it seems like I have an excuse to come here more often to explore 🤣 👉The shop only has a storefront, for takeaway only, there are no seats available; 👉Parking spots are not easy to find during meal times. #BayAreaFood #GlobalFoodieSquad #FoodieDaily #MyFoodDiary #IcePowder #HandmadeIcePowder #IcePowderStall #StallIcePowder #SanFranciscoFood #Food #StreetFood #SummerTreat #WhatToEatToday #WhatToEatForADay #Let'sHaveABowlOfIcePowder

Bay Area Food | Signature Wonton and Shanghai Pan-Fried Buns at an Old Restaurant in San Francisco

🍜 Hon's Wun-Tun House 📍 733 Washington St, San Francisco, CA, 94108 In the old restaurant, Hon's Wun-Tun House, located in San Francisco's Chinatown, the new location is truly eye-catching. The clean and tidy shop, as well as the glass window where dumplings are handmade, attract people's attention and make them want to try! The new shop has not been open for long, it is spacious and clean, with a more trendy feel. The menu is also more diverse, with signature dishes including fresh shrimp wonton, wonton noodles, steamed porridge, Xiao Long Bao, and pan-fried rice rolls. Spicy Beef Tendon The beef slices are really thick! Neatly arranged with spicy oil on top, the cucumber slices underneath help balance the flavors. A great choice for an appetizer. Seaweed Shrimp Wonton Soup This bowl is really satisfying! The wontons are plump and filled with solid meat filling, visible chunks of shrimp, and the broth is refreshing. The portion of seaweed is generous. Shanghai Pan-Fried Buns Freshly cooked pan-fried buns that are super hot! They burned my mouth twice. The skin is half crispy and half tender, and inside the filling is solid. Beggar's Pouch with Intestine This one is a bit surprising! The outer skin of the intestine is super crispy, while the inside is soft and glutinous. Definitely worth a try! However, I recommend pairing it with a vegetarian dish as it can be a bit greasy. Hong Kong-Style Milk Tea + Hong Kong-Style Ying Yang The tea flavor is rich and aromatic, and it comes in a large cup, making it a great value. Char Siu Rice Noodle Rolls are their specialty, but be aware of the timing. They're only available until 3 PM, so if you want to try them, come early. We came during dinner time and missed out on them. Next time, we'll make it a point to come specifically for the rice noodle rolls. #GlobalFoodieSquad #BayAreaLiving #BayAreaFood #OldRestaurantFlavor #NewlyOpenedOldRestaurant #SanFranciscoFood #SanFranciscoExploration #SanFranciscoChinatown #FreshShrimpWonton #ChineseHeritageBrand #GuangdongRiceRolls #CharSiuRiceNoodleRolls #MyFoodDiary #HiddenGemRestaurantShare

Bay Area Food | Rediscovering Childhood Memories at a Korean Restaurant⁉️

🍜BanSang 📍 1560 Fillmore St, San Francisco, CA 94115 · ▫️Mixed reviews, but decided to give it a try this time! We wanted to eat here last minute and surprisingly got a reservation. So we decided to come and try it out. · ▫️First things first, it's not bad as long as you don't order those trendy dishes. At least it's a decent restaurant. · ▫️Kimchi Oyster: Nothing particularly special, just oysters that taste good 😂 · ▫️Yellowtail & Prosciutto: This sashimi is really delicious! It disappeared in seconds! Although the quantity is small, the texture of the sashimi and the combination of the sauce and olive oil are just right, absolutely delicious 😍 · ▫️Yuza Pear Salad: It opened up a new world of making salads at home. This dish is fresh and slightly sweet with a hint of sourness. The cheese blends in perfectly. Skills for making salads at home - activated! · ▫️Black Cod: Tasty 😋 It's recommended, but it's just too little! Seriously, such a small portion, even one person can't have enough. · ▫️Galbi: The highlight of the evening, it has its own uniqueness. The spicy pickled cabbage inside is amazing! The Galbi is super tender and well-seasoned! · ▫️Rice cake & Grilled Shrimp: Although it's completely different from what I imagined, the rice cake was slightly fried and it tasted just like the rice cakes I had as a child! · ▫️Cold Bibim Noodles & Pork Jowl: A bit disappointing, you can skip this one. The noodles are too raw, and even though it's a cold dish, it feels even more raw when you eat it. Plus, the taste doesn't match well, and they skimped on the meat, you can't taste any meat at all 🫠 · 📣Warning: As long as you don't order their UNI toast, which is a disappointment, the overall experience is pretty good. But they seriously lack in portion sizes, you have to order a lot to be satisfied. #BayAreaLife #WhereToGoInBayAreaOnWeekends #GlobalFoodieSquad #Food #FoodSharing #FoodDaily #MyFoodDiary #HiddenGems #HiddenGemRestaurants #BayAreaFood
