This place exudes a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for soaking in the coastal vibes. Capitola is incredibly family-friendly, with surfing taking center stage in the list of available sports activities. 🏄♂️
Now, a word of caution for drivers—the parking situation is a bit tricky. Limited beachfront/village parking (max 3 hours, no top-ups allowed) with strict restrictions. However, there's a larger pay car park next to Britannia Arms, though it fills up fast. 🅿️
Parking Tip: For a day stay, opt for the much cheaper option about a quarter of a mile away behind the Town Hall on Capitola Avenue. Bonus: They offer a complementary shuttle bus to the beach! 🚌
