Sometimes you don't realize how risky it was until after it’s over!
Dropped off some stuff at the local landfill and ended up with a nightmare — a nail-studded piece of wood stabbed right into my tire. An employee flagged it down, I yanked it out (because, you know, giant chunk of wood), and they sent me to Walmart. No tire in stock, so they slimed and patched it, warning me to replace it ASAP. I had no choice but to drive 30 miles home, even hopping onto the highway. By the time I got back, every tire shop was closed and I was a ball of stress.
The next day, a mobile tire company came out and immediately told me how sketchy that "patch" was.
Looking back, I’m wondering just how close I was to a blowout. It was a rear tire on a small FWD hatchback — would it have been worse if it was a front tire or a bigger car?
