If you've ever had ants invade your vehicle, you'd know that it's a whole nightmare. They're usually after leftover food or crumbs hiding somewhere. Good news is, you can totally get rid of them yourself if you're patient.
First thing, find out where they're coming from, inside and out.
Then, do a super thorough clean out. Get rid of every bit of old food and trash. Vacuum every single crumb you can find.
Next, hit all the interior surfaces with a good cleaner and wipe them down.
After that, spray some vehicle-safe insect repellent inside to really deter them. For extra protection, throw some ant bait traps in there too.
Don't forget the outside! Give your car a really good wash, especially power washing those gaps where they might be getting in. If all that doesn't work, and you still have an infestation, it might be time to call in a pest control expert.
