My cat officially moved out

So apparently I've been demoted from 'cat parent' to 'that guy who used to feed me.' My cat Whiskers has decided the elderly couple next door offers superior accommodations. Better food (they give her actual salmon), premium nap spots (heated sunroom), and apparently more attentive staff. I discovered this betrayal when I found her wearing a new collar with THEIR phone number. The audacity. When I confronted the neighbors, they sheepishly admitted she's been living there for three weeks. 'We thought she was a stray!' Sure, Karen, a perfectly groomed stray who clearly knows how to use a litter box. The worst part? She still comes by my place, but only to judge my life choices and remind me that I'm single while she's living her best life with her new married couple.
