You need to try this Cheese 🧀 Spinach Ramen 🍜in SF

🍜 Hinodeya Ramen Bar 📍 1737 Buchanan St, San Francisco, CA 94115 ▫️ When it first opened, it was very popular, and even now there is still a queue on weekends at this good ramen restaurant. This time, revisiting Japantown in San Francisco, I didn't forget to have a bowl of noodles while shopping. ▫️ You can add yourself to the waitlist on Yelp in advance to save time. There are still quite a few people on weekends, so you may need to wait for about 30 minutes to 45 minutes. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but I suggest sitting indoors as it's a bit cold outside. ▫️ I saw that they had a limited edition matcha beer! If you're interested and like beer, you might want to give it a try, but I didn't get to try it this time. ▫️ You can order using your phone by scanning the QR code, but the menu options aren't extensive. ▫️ Cheese Ramen I chose a seasonal limited edition and saw the thick layer of cheese. Perfect combination! I must try it. I chose spinach noodles, but they also have regular ones. You can also add or reduce toppings according to your preference. The cheese is melted on top of the noodles, and someone will come to wipe it off for you. How much cheese you want depends on your own preference. With the rich flavor of cheese, the ramen is delicious. ▫️ We also ordered a chicken broth-based ramen, which was just average, nothing outstanding or disappointing. The broth had a rich flavor, and the portion was generous. ▫️ I recommend the octopus takoyaki as a side dish. It saves you from queuing up inside the mall. The vegetable dumplings are also good, but the sauce on the side is a bit awkward. Personally, I don't like the sauce, but the dumplings are fine on their own. ▫️ Personally, I think this place cooks their noodles a bit too lightly, and the texture is slightly firm. It's actually better to take it home and cook it again. #BayAreaLife #WhereToGoInBayAreaOnWeekends #BayArea #BayAreaFood #Food #Cheese #CheeseLover #TrendingFoodOnLittleRedBook #CheeseIsPower #CheeseRamen

Cranberry Brie Bread: The Ultimate Holiday Pull-Apart Snack

Preheat your oven to 350°F and prep a baking sheet with parchment paper. Grab a large boule and crosshatch it with a serrated knife, making sure not to cut all the way through. Mix melted butter, fresh thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Brush this herby butter into every nook and cranny of the bread. Stuff each crosshatch with strips of Brie and spoonfuls of whole-berry cranberry sauce. Don’t be shy—pack it in! Wrap the whole thing in foil and bake for about 20 minutes until the cheese is gooey and the bread is warm. Let it cool for 5 minutes, then dig in. This is the perfect snack for sharing! Don’t forget to like, share, and tag a friend who needs this in their life! #CranberryBrieBread #HolidayEats #CheeseLover #Food #Cooking

Embarking on a culinary escapade in Petaluma, and Marin French Cheese stole the show! 🚗 We snagged sandwiches with a side salad, making our way to the on-site lake, where the picnic tables beckoned. The store is a cheese lover's paradise, boasting an impressive variety. 🧀 I could have lingered there all day, surrounded by the cheesy wonders and other delightful items. 😍 In the Petaluma area? Marin French Cheese is an absolute must-visit. The folks there are incredibly friendly, adding an extra layer of warmth to the experience. 🤝 Lunchtime was a delight, doubling up as a cheese-shopping spree for a gourmet plate. Tasting? Totally free! We indulged in six to eight cheeses, each a flavor symphony. 🎵 Beyond their widely available Brie-style cheeses, they showcase Laura Chenel's goat cheeses, exclusive to their shop. The Ash cheese was a creamy revelation! 🍞 Baguettes and local goodies also make an appearance, perfect for crafting your picnic setting. The deli offers grab-and-go sandwiches and salads, plus some piping hot options. Mac and Cheese That’s Actually Creamy Every Time 🧀

Making homemade macaroni and cheese is all about getting that sauce just right. I always start with a roux—just butter and flour whisked together until it’s golden, then slowly add milk while stirring. Once it thickens, I toss in sharp cheddar and a bit of Gruyère for extra flavor. The key is to melt the cheese off the heat so it doesn’t get gritty. Fold in the cooked macaroni, and it’s ready to go. Sometimes I’ll sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and broil it for a crunchy finish. It’s a simple process, but the texture and taste are way better than boxed versions. If the sauce seems too thick, a splash of pasta water helps loosen it up without losing creaminess. #homemademacandcheese #comfortfood #cheeselover #Food #Cooking

Cheese Storage Hacks for Every Type of Cheese

Unwrap your cheese from any plastic packaging right away. Leaving it in plastic makes it taste weird and suffocates it. If you notice a chemical smell or flavor, just slice off a thin layer from the outside. That usually fixes it. Wrap your cheese in cheese paper, wax paper, or parchment paper. Fold it up like a little present and tape it down. Cheese paper is best, but wax or parchment works fine if you’re on a budget. Label your cheese with the type and the date you bought it. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later when you’re digging through the fridge. Loosely wrap the paper-covered cheese in plastic wrap or put it in a partially sealed bag. Never wrap cheese directly in plastic—let it breathe! Store your cheese in a fridge drawer, not on a shelf. Drawers are more humid and keep cheese from drying out. Hard cheeses last longer, but toss anything that smells funky or looks black-gray. For soft cheeses in brine, keep them in a sealed container with their liquid. If you need to replace the brine, just use salty water—not plain water. #CheeseLover #KitchenTips #FoodStorage #Food #Cooking

Korean Cheese Corndog: Street Food Win or Fail?

I found myself at a street food festival in Zürich, surrounded by the usual suspects—tacos, dumplings, overpriced lemonade. But then I spotted it: a Korean cheese corndog, golden and unapologetically cheesy, served with a side of cocktail sauce. I’m not sure if it’s genius or a crime against food, but I had to try it. First bite: molten cheese stretch for days, the kind that makes you look ridiculous but you don’t care because you’re in public and everyone else is doing it too. The cocktail sauce? Weirdly works. Sweet, tangy, a little spicy—like ketchup’s cooler cousin. Did I feel judged by the health-conscious Swiss crowd? Absolutely. Did I care? Not even a little. Sometimes you just need a stick of fried cheese to remind you that life is short and food is meant to be fun. 10/10 would cheese-pull again. #StreetFood #KoreanCorndog #CheeseLover #Food #Foodie

My Cat’s Cheddar Cheese Heist for My Sake

So apparently, my cat has decided she’s my personal nutritionist. Last night, I was doomscrolling in bed, skipping dinner (classic), when she barged in with a chunk of cheddar cheese in her mouth. Not just any cheese—her absolute favorite. She dropped it right on my pillow, stared at me like, “Eat. Now.” I don’t know if I should be touched or offended that she sacrificed her beloved treat for my questionable life choices. Is this what love looks like? Or is she just training me to accept cheese tributes? Either way, I caved and ate it. She purred like she’d just solved world hunger. Honestly, I wish my human friends cared half as much about my meals as this furball does. Who needs a nutritionist when you’ve got a cat who’s both a thief and a therapist? #PetStories #CatLife #CheeseLover #Pets
