Sitting in my car crying over Genesis 16. If you feel invisible today, please read this. 😭

I’ve been feeling completely invisible lately. Unappreciated, overlooked, and just used by the people around me. I kind of broke down in my car today. To find comfort, I opened my Bible app and ended up reading about Hagar. She was a foreign slave, abused by Sarah, used by Abraham, and then discarded into the deadly desert when things got messy. She was the lowest of the low in that society—a nobody. But God literally tracked her down in the wilderness. He didn't send an angel; the Angel of the Lord met her personally. And she becomes the ONLY person in the entire Bible to give God a name: El Roi (The God who sees me). God didn't reveal this beautiful, intimate title to a king or a high priest. He gave it to a broken, abused, pregnant runaway in the middle of a wasteland. If you feel like nobody sees your pain, He does. He is El Roi. #ElRoi #GodWhoSeesMe #ChristianEncouragement #InvisibleNoMore #Hagar

God intentionally shrunk Gideon’s army to 300 men (and I finally get why) 🥺

As we end another exhausting week, I was reflecting on how overwhelmed I feel. It seems like I never have enough time, money, or energy to face my daily battles. Then I reread the story of Gideon. He was already terrified, facing an army of 135,000 Midianites. He managed to scrape together 32,000 men. But God essentially said, "That's too many." God systematically stripped Gideon's resources down to just 300 men. God literally orchestrated a mathematical impossibility. Why? So that when the victory came, Israel couldn't boast that their own strength saved them. If you feel completely outmatched and under-resourced right now, you might be exactly where God wants you. He is setting the stage so that His grace is the only explanation for your survival. Take a breath. He’s got this. #FaithOverAnxiety #Gideon #TrustTheProcess #ChristianEncouragement

God's response to Elijah's extreme depression is exactly what I needed today. Going into Monday feeling completely burned out. I was reading 1 Kings 19. Eliiah had iust called down fire from heaven and defeated 450 false prophets. The biggest spiritual high ever. But the very next day, he gets a death threat runs into the desert, sits under a tree, and begs God to take his life. He was utterly physically and mentally exhausted And how does God respond to His greatest prophet wanting to quit? He doesn't yell at him. He doesn't preach a sermon about having more faith. God lets him sleep, sends an angel to bake him some fresh bread, and gives him water. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do when you are overwhelmed is take a nap and eat a good meal. God knows our frames. He knows we are dust. Be gentle with yourself today. #MentalHealth #Eliiah #GodsGrace #Burnout #ChristianEncouragement

I’m a Christian. And grace isn’t a nice idea—it’s the only thing that hasn’t left me when everything else did. I’ve been shattered—pieces so small I didn’t think anyone could find them all. I’ve screamed prayers that felt like echoes in an empty room. I’ve carried shame that weighed more than my body. I’ve wondered if God could possibly still want someone this wrecked. Then grace crashes in—not polite, not gentle at first, but fierce, relentless, all-consuming. It doesn’t wait for me to deserve it. It doesn’t ask for my resume. It says: ‘I see every crack. I know every failure. And I love you right here, right now—fiercely, without condition.’ The cross wasn’t a suggestion. It was God saying, ‘Your sin, your pain, your darkness—I take it all. And I give you My power in exchange.’ The same resurrection power that rolled the stone away is alive in your weary bones. It’s not about being strong enough—it’s about His strength being made perfect in your weakness. If you’re drowning in regret tonight… If grace feels too good to be true… If you’re barely believing anymore… Stop. Breathe. You are not beyond reach. God’s grace is bigger than your biggest failure. His power is stronger than your deepest darkness. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). That’s not a verse—it’s a promise kept every single day. You are held by grace that never runs out. You are empowered by love that never gives up. You are redeemed—fully, finally, forever. Fall into it. Rest in it. Let it carry you. Because grace wins. Every time. #GodsGrace #UnconditionalLove #BrokenButRedeemed #FaithInHardTimes #Psalm3418 #ChristianEncouragement #GraceUponGrace #ResurrectionPower #NeverTooFarGone #HopeInJesus
