Sometimes it was a Meijer parking lot where half the town seemed to show up, other times it was a coffee shop or a 24/7 diner where you could sit for hours with friends, drink endless coffee and just hang out. These days I leave the house, look for somewhere to land, and it feels like there is nothing. Teens and young adults do not seem to be gathering the way they used to.
