Dream Fluff Donuts - Old Shop Nostalgia at 4 AM!

This classic donut shop in Berkeley has been open since 1940, working diligently like a busy bee! Every day, it's business as usual at 4 AM, though they relax a little and open at 6 AM on weekends! Tip my hat to the owner, as for me, waking up that early seems impossible! For this consistent work ethic, I just had to buy some donuts to show my support! *As for taste: It's the usual comfortable donut flavor we all know and love! If you're also a fan of checking in at unique places, there's a special Maple Bacon donut you might want to try. Seems it's something you can't find elsewhere, see picture 4, if you're interested in trying out the odd combo! *As for price: $1~$2 per donut, buying a bunch won't even cost you $10! Looking around at the lined-up crowd, you'll see hurried office workers, backpack-toting students, on-duty police, leisurely neighbors... why has such a regular taste attracted so many fans? Perhaps it's what they call a "life habit." Oftentimes, what people fall in love with is not the flavor itself but its consistent presence in their lives! 🚩Dream Fluff Donuts 2637 Ashby Ave, Berkeley, CA 94705 #DreamFluffDonuts #OldShopNostalgia #BerkeleyClassics #MapleBaconDelight #LifeHabit #SupportLocalBusiness #DonutLovers #BerkeleyEats

Donut Storage Hacks: Keep ‘Em Fresh, Not Soggy!

Store donuts at room temp in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days. If you’re using a plastic bag, only do it overnight—otherwise, they’ll get mushy. Aluminum foil or plastic wrap works too, but don’t wrap glazed ones too tight or you’ll lose the icing. If you want to keep them longer, refrigerate! Cover with plastic wrap or foil (never a plastic bag) and keep them in the fridge for up to a week. Always chill cream-filled donuts, or you risk spoiled filling. For long-term storage, freeze donuts on a tray for 4 hours, then transfer to an airtight container. They’ll last up to 3 months. Defrost at room temp, uncovered, for 15-60 minutes before microwaving in 10-second bursts. Got stale donuts? Don’t toss them! Use them for bread pudding or blitz them into crumbs for donut truffles. Just make sure they’re not moldy. Fresh donuts are a treat, but with these tricks, you can enjoy them way longer! #DonutLovers #FoodStorageTips #FreshDonuts #Food #Cooking

Three Fillings, Zero Regrets: Donut Experiments

Ever had a kitchen disaster turn into a win? That was me, standing in a cloud of flour, trying to make donuts that didn’t look like sad bagels. But hey, persistence (and a lot of YouTube tutorials) paid off. I ended up with these golden, fluffy donuts—each one hiding a surprise: guava for a tropical punch, vanilla custard for the classic crowd, and chocolate ganache for anyone who thinks dessert should be illegal. I’m not saying they’re bakery-level, but my friends inhaled them in under ten minutes, so I’m calling it a success. If you’re bored of plain donuts, seriously, try stuffing them. The mess is worth it. And if you mess up? Just call it “rustic.” Works every time. #DonutLovers #HomemadeTreats #BakingFails #FoodieLife #SweetSurprise #Food #Foodie
