Pamela Owens+FollowDraymond Responds to KD Ring TalkDraymond Green clapped back at the idea that Kevin Durant’s titles with Golden State were “cheap”: “Kevin Durant never gets a Championship if he doesn’t come here… but you don’t get 2 Finals MVP if you don’t deserve rings — that’s just kind of a dumb thing to say.” Draymond making it clear: KD’s rings count, and the Warriors needed him too. Do you agree with Draymond, or do KD’s Warriors titles still feel different? #DraymondGreen #KevinDurant #Warriors #NBA #NBADebate #NBAChampion #DubNation #Dynasty #Sports 144Share
Brittany Mills+FollowIs Kevin Durant Making a Valid Point Here? On one hand, Steph proved he could win both before and after KD. On the other hand, Durant was Finals MVP in both of Golden State’s titles during his run — and those dominant performances were a big reason the Warriors became nearly unstoppable. So what do you think — is KD right to say those Finals MVPs matter just as much as Steph’s rings without him? #NBA #KevinDurant #StephCurry #NBADebate #DubNation #Sports #BasketballDrama #BasketballHistory #NBAChampion 40107Share
Susan Reeves+FollowWarriors Locker Room Rallies for JK’s ReturnThe JK contract drama is heating up in Dub Nation! With Jonathan Kuminga’s future in limbo, Brandin Podziemski made it clear on Willard and Dibs: the Warriors’ locker room wants JK back, no matter what the front office decides. Even Buddy Hield is backing the young star. But if the front office drags this out, it could derail the whole offseason. Will the Dubs cave and keep their rising star? #Sports #Basketball #DubNation41Share
Beth Holland+FollowIs Steph All-Time Better Than KD?Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant will always be linked — two generational talents who impacted the game in different ways. Curry’s Case: 4× NBA Champion, 2× MVP, revolutionized basketball with his shooting, and the Warriors dynasty will always be tied to him. Durant’s Case: 2× Champion, 2× Finals MVP, 1× MVP, one of the greatest pure scorers ever with a skillset that’s nearly impossible to defend. So when it comes to all-time ranking, who do you place higher: Steph or KD? #NBA #StephenCurry #KevinDurant #NBADebate #DubNation #BasketballTalk #Sports 32Share
Amy Tanner+FollowShould the Dubs Risk It All for Buddy Buckets?Dub Nation, what’s your take on the Warriors making Buddy Hield untouchable in any Jonathan Kuminga sign-and-trade? Buddy Buckets was clutch in the playoffs, but his defense is still a concern, especially with our aging core. If keeping him means losing Kuminga for nothing, is it worth it? Or should the front office reconsider and get some value back before it’s too late? Let’s hear your thoughts! #Sports #Basketball #DubNation00Share
Susan Reeves+FollowMoody’s Moment: Dubs Finally Lock Him InAfter years on the fringe, Moses Moody has finally earned his stripes with the Dubs. Golden State just inked him to a 3-year, $37.5M extension and, more importantly, refused to include him in any Kuminga trade talks. With his shooting numbers climbing and the front office showing real trust, Moody’s got the stability he’s craved. Could he be the next big piece alongside Chef Curry? #Sports #Basketball #DubNation10Share
Nicole Obrien+FollowWarriors Skip on Toohey: Focus on Win-Now MovesDubs Nation, looks like the Alex Toohey experiment is on hold. According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Aussie rookie—picked 52nd overall—won’t be suiting up for the Warriors this season. With the front office laser-focused on maximizing the last years of the Steph Curry era, it’s all about proven vets, not projects. Toohey’s skillset is intriguing, but don’t expect to see him in the Bay just yet. Overseas or a two-way deal seems likely while the Kuminga saga drags on. #Sports #Basketball #DubNation01Share
Ryan Lopez+FollowShould the Dubs Really Trade Kuminga?Warriors fans, let’s talk JK! After a rollercoaster playoff run, Jonathan Kuminga showed flashes of being a true difference-maker, especially guarding top dogs like Anthony Edwards and dropping big numbers when it mattered. With the Dubs lacking athleticism, can we really afford to ship him out, even with Jimmy Buckets in town? Monte Poole thinks Kuminga could still be a key piece if used right. Is it time to give him one more shot? #Sports #Basketball #DubNation10Share
Beth Holland+FollowSteph Curry Reflects on Finals MVPs and KD’s Warriors EraIn an interview during his China tour, Steph Curry opened up about missing out on the 2017 and 2018 Finals MVP awards. “That topic is always there. In 2018 I felt really close, but I didn’t play well in Game 3. KD’s Finals were incredible — he deserved those MVPs. If your focus is on FMVP, it can distract you. I almost let it distract me in 2018. But winning rings was always the priority.” On Kevin Durant joining the Warriors, Curry said: “We all had the ambition to keep chasing championships, and KD shared that vision. He knew he could be happy here and compete for more than one title. We ended up with two together.” Curry also reflected on 2015, when Andre Iguodala won Finals MVP over him: “That proved you just need to do your job to win a title. I’m at peace with it now, especially after 2022 when I finally got FMVP. That was a career breakthrough for me — and I even graduated from Davidson.” #StephCurry #Warriors #NBAFinals #KevinDurant #NBAHistory #FinalsMVP #DubNation #Sports 120Share
