Long Lines at Food Banks, My Kids Shivering from Hunger

I’m a single mom in Houston, Texas, with two young children. The government shutdown caused community food banks to run low on supplies, and we had to wait long hours in line. Last week, my kids were shivering from hunger and kept crying, and I could only hold them to comfort them. Neighbors complain too; many families have to survive on donated bread and canned goods.
