Last week, a massive storm knocked out our power for a day and a half—36 hours of darkness, no fridge, no AC. I kept thinking about the freezer. I’d read somewhere that if you don’t open it, the cold stays trapped inside. But all I had in there were two boxes of those TGI Fridays boneless wings you get at the supermarket.
