David Hernandez+FollowSomeone Wired Two Car Batteries To A Trash Can By A Tree 🤔It's two car batteries, all wired up and connected to a garbage can. I have no idea what is going on here. For what it's worth, I'm almost positive this tree has Dutch elm disease. Perhaps that is somehow related. I'm just so curious if this is some kind of testing contraption. They've just been sitting there ever since the second battery was wired up. #WeirdFinds #Gardening #Home #WhatIsThis #TreeCare #HelpNeeded 394522Share
Thomas Clark+FollowMy mom kicked me out at 16 now she wants to live with me... HelpWhen I was just 16 years old, my mother actually kicked me out of the house. Now, years later, she is at a point where she needs more care. Instead of going into a retirement home, she has asked if she can come and live with me. This is all just a lot to process. I don't know what to do, and I would really appreciate any thoughts or guidance on this. #FamilyDilemma #ToughChoices #SeekingAdvice #FamilyRelationships #AdultChildren #WhatWouldYouDo #Family #HelpNeeded 10711429Share
sgarcia+FollowA hospice patient gifted me theseI volunteer at a hospice, and I've spent a lot of time with an elderly lady there. She didn’t have many visitors so I was basically the one who kept her company. Last week she handed me this little box of jewelry. I have no idea if any of it is real. My gut says it’s all just costume jewelry, but now I’m curious. I just feel ridiculous walking into a jewelry store and asking someone to check them. What if they tell me it’s all from Macy’s and give me that pity smile. I can see tiny markings on the inside of a few pieces but I can’t make them out. Is taking them to a store really the only way to find out? I want to know but I also don’t want to feel like an idiot.😞 #JewelryAdvice #HelpNeeded #HospiceStories #Jewelry 22951913Share
Nina +FollowSOS! This Orange Slime Is Dripping Down My Walls. What on Earth Is This?A friend of mine mentioned seeing something kind of similar in an old house when it was raining a lot, and it has been pouring here lately. This slime looks like it is weeping right through the paint. Has anyone seen this horror movie substance before? Please tell me this is not some highly toxic type of fungus #ApartmentNightmare #WhatIsThis #MysterySlime #HelpNeeded #HomeRepair 1950Share
David Hernandez+FollowWhen Someone Borrowed My Bobcat. This Is My Week Now.I'm a little frustrated right now. I have an employee whose uncle has a bunch of land and we had just finished a job dumping about thirty yards of dirt there. They asked if they could borrow my loader to spread it out. They did that just fine. But then they decided to use the loader for some other work they wanted done without asking. And now it is completely stuck in the mud. So now a huge part of my week is completely screwed. I just needed to vent about this. 😓 #WorkStories #Construction #Bobcat #FunnyStories #Lending #MistakesWereMade #HelpNeeded 8572Share
malonestephen+FollowMy wife and I are losing our minds over this mystery structure. What is it?! 🤯My wife and I keep driving past this thing on the side of the road in Oregon, and we have to know what it is. It's about 15 feet tall and just sits there at the end of a driveway. The bottom part has a glass window facing the driveway, but it looks totally empty inside. We have no idea what it could be. We have thrown out every guess we can think of, like maybe it's some kind of watchtower, a giant birdhouse, or even a weird deer feeder. My wife is honestly losing her mind trying to figure it out every time we drive by. Someone has to know what this is. We would be so grateful for any ideas you might have. #MysterySolved #Oregon #WhatIsThis #HelpNeeded #WeirdFinds #Traffic #RoadsideAttractions 23411796Share

Brianna Patel+FollowAt a Garage Sale. Trying to figure out what it is before I turn it into a coffee table base.I found this really old, wooden item at a garage sale the other day. It's about five feet long, and the guy who owned it (who used to run an antique store) had no idea what it was either. It's got two metal thread plates on each side, which makes me think it might have been attached to something. My first guess was maybe some kind of old trough with eyelets to tie animals to, but that just doesn't feel right. Before I turn this into an coffee table base (that's my current plan) I'm genuinely so curious about its original purpose. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any old farm equipment experts or antique gurus out there who can shed some light? #HelpNeeded #WhatIsIt #Woodworking #OldStuff #DIYProjects 10781003Share
schmidtgeorge+FollowIs it legal to tow a car that's blocking your driveway? You've had a really long day, you're tired, and all you want to do is pull into your driveway. Then you see it. Some stranger's car is sitting right there, blocking your way. First instinct is to probably just call a tow truck right away. It is illegal to block a driveway which means you can get the cops involved and usually you won't be stuck with the tow bill. But before you get totally mad about it, maybe try being polite first. Try leaving a note explaining that they are blocking your driveway. If the polite approach does not work, then it's time to call your local law enforcement. Use their main non-emergency number or 311 if you have it. They will come out and handle contacting a tow company for you. This is usually the best way because some tow companies won't even move a car unless the police have already been involved. And whatever you do, please do not try to tow the car yourself. Local police department told me it's kind of a gray area and you could get into trouble if you damage the car without the right insurance. It is always best to let the professionals handle it. #ParkingProblems #HomeownerLife #TowTruckDrama #LegalAdvice #HelpNeeded #Cars #CommunityTalk #Neighborhoods 149132Share
