My grandma's house is falling apart but she refuses to leave 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I am really worried about my grandma. Her mobile home from the 1970s is literally falling apart. The ceiling in the bathroom is cracked, and a beam in a bedroom has broken. There are puddles of water on the roof from dents, and the carpet is always damp. The ceiling fan in the kitchen is hanging on by just a few screws and the walls get hot when you use an outlet. The worst part is she refuses to move. She keeps saying it's all "fixable" and that she can do it herself. Her plan is to get a new roof and ignore all the electrical and interior problems. The whole place is full of mold and she has lost all of her hair in the last few months, but she doesn't think it's from the house. I have no idea what to do or where to even begin. My house has become a drainage nightmare

We bought our dream homes, but they have quickly turned into a living nightmare. Every time it rains, our front yards turn into disgusting, mosquito-infested swamps. The so-called "swales" that were supposed to drain the water just fill up like little ponds. We've reached out to the home builder a dozen times, but they just act like it's no big deal and refuse to do anything. We even went to the county, but they just say their hands are tied. It feels like we have been completely abandoned. We poured our savings into these houses, and now we're left with this mess. We've tried everything we can think of, but we are out of options and out of hope. We just feel so defeated. I am begging for any advice from anyone who has gone through something like this before. Do I need to be concerned about this water stain on my ceiling?

The toilet from upstairs overflowed overnight and left this water stain on our ceiling downstairs. Their toilet is already fixed, and the man upstairs said he would tell maintenance to paint over the stain once it’s dry and cover the cost. But should I be worried about mold or any other hidden damage from the water? Or does it take longer for mold to form? I woke up to a massive yellow stain on my marble counter

I am having a really bad day. I woke up to a huge yellow stain on my marble counter that was not there last night. It looks like it is probably from turmeric that got left out overnight. I have already tried cleaning it with just soap and water but nothing is working. The stain is really set in there. Vacation surprise. The basement bathroom door was totally gnawed on

Just got back from vacation, and found our basement bathroom door looking like this. You can see it's really chewed up at the bottom. We're all trying to figure out what could have caused this kind of damage. It looks pretty deliberate, almost like something was trying to get in or out. My New House Has A River In The Backyard When It Rains 😂

I just bought this house and I have a literal river running through my backyard whenever there's heavy rain. It's wild. It flows right into a stormwater drain just outside my property line. Even with normal rain, it's pretty wet, but nothing like a full-on river. My neighbor to the right seems to have some of their own issues. A few of their downspouts go underground and end up pretty close to my property line. They are actually getting some work done on their yard soon, with a better swale and French drains. I talked to the person doing their work, and he said they could continue the French drain all the way down near my stormwater drain. He told me it probably won't stop the river entirely, but it will help dry out the grass so it doesn't stay wet and nasty. He'd also make some swale adjustments. I'm trying to figure out if this sounds like the right plan. Saw this on the internet and got really curious! This girl noticed a cotton-like substance growing on the walls in her bathroom.
