My Cat Thinks the Dryer Is a Bed
So, I went to do laundry today and found my cat, Mochi, curled up inside the dryer like it was a five-star hotel suite. Not on top—inside. Among the warm, fluffy towels and, yes, a suspicious amount of lint.
I guess this is what happens when you live with a creature who believes every soft surface is their birthright. Mochi looked at me like I was the intruder, not the one who’s been shedding fur in every corner of the house.
Now I’m left wondering: is the lint in my dryer just laundry debris, or is it 90% cat hair? Probably both. Anyway, I cleaned it out (again), but Mochi’s already plotting her next nap spot.
If anyone has tips for keeping pets out of appliances—or just wants to commiserate about the never-ending battle against fur—let’s hear it. Because at this point, I think my dryer is more cat bed than appliance.
