Choosing Health and Happiness Over Work at 63.

After years of dealing with the stress of working in a toxic environment, I’m finally walking away at 63. No more mean lawyers, no more endless stress, no more sacrificing my health for a paycheck. 🙅‍♀️💼 I’m not rich — my Social Security check will only be $1800/month, and my pension isn’t huge either. But I’m done letting work define me. I’ve worked hard to be able to live without a mortgage, and now it’s time to make the most of my health and my art. 🌟 I might not have it all figured out, but I know one thing: life is too short to keep putting off happiness. I plan to sell my car, tap into a reverse mortgage if needed, and live on my terms. 🚶‍♀️💫 For those of you who’ve retired with limited income — how do you stay happy and healthy without worrying about every penny? I’m ready to live, not just survive. 💬👇 #RetireOnYourTerms #HealthAndHappiness #ChooseYourLife #ArtistAtHeart #FinancialFreedom #LiveFully #JobCareer #Career

Remembering Caroline Klein: A Life Lived to the Fullest

The sports world lost a bright and courageous voice this week—Caroline Klein, Chief Communications Officer for the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth, has passed away at age 40 after a battle with cancer. Diagnosed in August 2023, Klein refused to define herself by her illness. Instead, she viewed her diagnosis as a “license to live.” In a poignant final message shared by her family, she wrote: “I want everyone to remember me for the way I lived, not the way I died ... Keep asking yourself ‘why not?’ and ‘why wait?’ … See every day as a license to LIVE, not just pass the time.” Her impact was profound—she launched Jazz+, produced the 50th-anniversary Jazz documentary, played a key role in bringing the NHL’s Utah Mammoth to life, and earned recognition on Sports Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40.” As we grieve her passing, we’re also inspired to live with the same fearless curiosity and authenticity she championed. #CarolineKlein #LiveFully #Jazz #Mammoth #NBA #SportsNews
