Houston Nursing Student Jenisha Budha Magar Critically Injured in Serious Car Accident, Family Seeks Support Jenisha Budha Magar, a nursing student in Houston, remains in critical condition after suffering life-threatening injuries in a serious car accident on January 29, 2026. The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. near 13884 Beamer Road as she and other students were leaving a university parking area after class. Jenisha, originally from Dang (Ghorahi), Nepal, moved to the United States in July 2025 to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. She is currently enrolled at San Jacinto Community College and is known by family as a compassionate young woman dedicated to helping others. According to her family, five students were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. While others sustained minor to moderate injuries, Jenisha, who was seated in the middle of the back seat, suffered the most severe impact. Doctors diagnosed her with severe internal bleeding, a concussion, a skull fracture, and multiple fractures to her ribs and pelvic bones. Emergency responders initially transported her to a nearby hospital before airlifting her to Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center due to the seriousness of her condition. Surgeons performed emergency surgery to stop internal bleeding, and she is now receiving critical care in the Intensive Care Unit. Although she has regained consciousness, doctors say her condition remains critical, and she will require additional surgeries, prolonged ICU care, and extensive rehabilitation. Jenishaโ€™s brother, Saurav Magar, who is currently by her side and acting as her primary caregiver in the U.S., has launched a fundraiser to help cover overwhelming medical expenses. As an international student, Jenisha faces significant financial challenges related to emergency treatment and long-term recovery. #JenishaBudhaMagar #HoustonCarAccident #NursingStudent #CriticalInjury #MedicalEmergency #InternationalStudent #FamilySeeksSupport

I just saved someone's life on a plane because the flight crew had no idea what to do ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜‘

Just had the craziest experience on a Korean Airlines flight. I was heading back to my seat when I saw a woman in a window seat having a seizure. I immediately yelled for help, but the flight attendant walking towards me was moving at a snail's pace. I told her it was a medical emergency, and she still took her sweet time getting there. When she finally saw the woman, her eyes went wide. She called for more staff, and suddenly four of them were crowding around. The woman was clearly foaming at the mouth, and they laid her flat on her back. I just could not stand there watching them make it worse. So I literally ran to the front of the plane and found another flight attendant. I almost yelled at her to page for a doctor on the plane, right now. She looked at me like I had two heads. Finally, she did it. Turns out there was an MD and a Neurosurgeon on board. They stepped in and saved the woman from choking. The doctor even thanked me for saving her life. The flight attendants, on the other hand, went back to their normal duties without another word to me. When we landed, they made us deboard around the woman still in her seat, even though an ambulance was waiting. The MD was as confused as I was about that. It really made me think about how important it is for flight staff to know basic first aid. Not even the knowledge, just the consciousness that a situation is serious! #FlightEmergency #SavedALife #TravelStories #FirstAid #AirlineStories #Health #SeizureAwareness #MedicalEmergency #CrazyStory
