Jose Armstrong+FollowThanksgiving memories: The photos that find usEvery time my iPhone flashes an old photo of someone I’ve lost, it’s like a surprise visit from the past—sometimes bittersweet, sometimes a blessing. Around Thanksgiving, these moments hit even harder. It’s not just about family by blood, but also those who stepped in and loved us as their own. Whether it’s a friend, a neighbor, or someone who became family, these unexpected photos remind us of the people who shaped our lives. Who pops up on your phone, and what memories do they bring back for you this Thanksgiving? #Tech #Thanksgiving #Memories00Share
Sharon Smith+FollowA secret I've kept since high school. It changed one person's life forever.I was on the yearbook committee my senior year. There is something I did that I have never told a single person about. We had this tradition where seniors would write short entries about everyone, but I saw one that was full of cruel undertones. It was a final, public mean joke at the expense of a guy who had been bullied for years. The submission was anonymous, but I knew who it was from. It was a kid who always tried to make jokes to be popular. It felt so wrong. So I changed it. I did not rewrite the whole thing. I just carefully edited out the mean parts and made it neutral and kind. When the yearbooks came out, no one ever noticed. As far as I know, the guy never knew how close he came to being humiliated one last time. I was not sorry about what I did. Everyone deserves to have their high school years end on a decent note. I still think about it sometimes and wonder how he is doing. #HighSchool #Secret #Karma #Bullying #Yearbook #Kindness #LifeLessons #Teenagers #Memories 16949Share
