OHIO MAN ARRESTED IN NORTH CAROLINA DOUBLE HOMICIDE CASE An Ohio man wanted in connection to a double homicide in North Carolina is now behind bars. Authorities say 25-year-old Caleb Fosnaugh of Coshocton was taken into custody after investigators learned he may be heading back to Ohio in a white 2018 Ford Mustang. On February 14, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina alerted Coshocton County officials. From there, local deputies, detectives, the Special Response Team, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol coordinated efforts to track him down. Troopers spotted the Mustang around 2:18 p.m. traveling toward Coshocton County. Roughly 13 minutes later, law enforcement conducted a traffic stop at State Route 541 and County Road 120 in Linton Township. Fosnaugh was arrested without incident and transported to the Coshocton County Justice Center. The homicide investigation remains under the jurisdiction of the Moore County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina. Another multi-state case. Another fast-moving arrest. #CalebFosnaugh #DoubleHomicide #CoshoctonCounty #NorthCarolina #OhioCrime #BreakingNews #TrueCrime #MultiStateInvestigation

🚨 PREGNANT WOMAN’S BODY DUMPED IN TOTE — ONE MAN SENTENCED This is out of Middletown, Ohio, and the source here is Law & Crime, reporting on court proceedings. One of three men accused of covering up the death of 28-year-old Brittany Fuhr-Storms has now learned his fate. James Rothenbusch, 52, pleaded guilty to complicity to tampering with evidence and was sentenced this week to 30 months in prison. Authorities say Brittany — who was pregnant at the time — died in a Middletown home connected to Rothenbusch and another defendant. According to Law & Crime’s reporting, her body was kept in a bathtub for four days before being wrapped in towels and a tarp, sealed inside a plastic storage tote with screws, and dumped in a wooded area in neighboring Montgomery County. Her death has been described as an alleged overdose, though two other men — Rick Sheppard and Walter Wade — still face charges including abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. Their trials are scheduled for next month. During sentencing, Rothenbusch told the court he was high on methamphetamine and “didn’t know what to do.” He apologized. Brittany’s brother spoke as well — reminding the courtroom that instead of celebrating the birth of her baby boy and her birthday, the family was planning a funeral. All but the complicity charge were dropped as part of Rothenbusch’s plea agreement. This case is still unfolding.
