My Puppy’s Epic Battle With the ‘Other Dog’
So, I caught my 4-month-old mutt, Luna, locked in a fierce showdown with her own reflection. She’s part terrier, part chaos, and apparently, 100% convinced there’s a rival dog living in the hallway mirror. At first, she tried the classic tail wag and play bow. When her new ‘friend’ didn’t respond, she escalated to barking, then full-on nose boops.
Watching her try to outsmart her own reflection is both hilarious and a little too relatable. Who among us hasn’t argued with ourselves in the mirror at 2am? Luna eventually gave up, flopped down, and shot me a look that said, “This dog is impossible.”
Pet parenting is basically refereeing these daily existential crises. But honestly, I wouldn’t trade her weirdness for anything. Anyone else’s pets obsessed with mirrors, or is mine just uniquely dramatic?
