My total retirement is $1,400. A month. Think about when you have that meal in a restaurant, bet it’s more expensive than $6.30. Think about your trip through the grocery store, how much would you be able to purchase for $6.30 or $207 for a month ? I don’t eat out in restaurants, I cook everything I can to keep myself from going hungry. Please don’t judge me for relying upon the SNAP program. I’m not out stealing food and begging I’m quietly doing everything I possibly can to survive. I’m not bitter I am extremely grateful for every penny. I believe that any funds should be strictly used for a child to get good nutrition, not the parent getting money to spend on cigarettes, which I’ve seen. That’s not food!!! 😡.. I was on a program called WIC, and it was strictly just for food, which is how it should be. Children need good nutrition and they should get it.01Share
