What are you considering IF these funds get shut off? I've been talking with my family options to help people survive. Buy food, pass it out? Well I can get sued if someone gets sick. Donate to a food pantry? And a good portion goes to administrative costs and people who may NOT need it will still take the handouts.So HOW do we help? REALLY HELP? Some people are on the street because they didn't have ONE paycheck. Buying then stuff to STAY on the street doesn't help in extreme weather. It doesn't help their health. So we're discussing options, even if it's getting ONE person back on their feet and back into Life. Are YOU having these discussions or just arguing Politics online? I feel that this part of the government should have stayed open because now it’s putting so many people out of being able to feed their families and there are some that can’t work due to a medical condition and depends on food stamps. Yes some are taken advantage of the system and they should be investigated but not all folks are. So please consider opening that part of the government!! I’m not on snap but I know a couple people that are and are depending on their stamps as they can not work what so ever!! Please help these people or at least help them with information so they can get food. Thank you for reading my post and I hope that everyone in this country can come together and stop all of the nonsense that’s been happening with our people ( crime, & etc) we all can do better if we all would just be grateful and lend a helping hand to any person. And also the fact of ppl that are elderly and disabled and such. It is unfair like I said and the government needs to reopen to help ppl out. Please and thank you.
