VelvetVulture+FollowCan I Still Live Fully After Messing Up?Hello, 19F here. I’ve really messed up—like, a solid 7 out of 10. I won’t go into details, but it’s enough that I’ve just stopped trying. No social media, no friends, nothing. Still, deep down, I want to do things. I dream about starting my own commentary channel on YouTube, but I keep telling myself I don’t deserve it. SolarSiren+FollowStop Beating Yourself Up Over Mistakes!Ugh, I’ve totally been there—stuck replaying a mistake over and over in my head. 🙈 But here’s what I’ve learned (the hard way): • First, I admit my mistake—no excuses, just honesty. Owning it is tough, but it’s the only way forward. • I talk it out with someone I trust. Saying it out loud? Super awkward, but SO freeing! • Making amends ASAP helps me move on (and sometimes, it’s not as big a deal as I thought 😅). • I try to learn from it. I ask myself: what caused this? What can I do differently next time? • And most importantly—I cut myself some slack. I’d never be this harsh to a friend, so why do it to myself? We all mess up. What matters is how we bounce back. I remind myself: I’m not my mistakes. I’m learning, growing, and moving forward. ❤️ Anyone else working on forgiving themselves?
