My Kid Shared Half of His Thanksgiving Food Box With a Neighbor

The school gave out Thanksgiving food boxes with canned corn, instant potatoes, and a small turkey pack. We’re not wealthy, but we manage. On the way home, my son saw our neighbor’s kid holding just one bag of macaroni. He opened his box, took out half, and said, “We have enough. You should celebrate too.” Kids aren’t clueless.
