Beat Overwhelm: My To-Do List Secrets!
Ever feel like your brain's about to explode from all the stuff you need to do? 😅 I totally get it! Here’s how I keep my sanity with to-do lists:
• I pick what works for me—sometimes it’s my phone, sometimes good ol’ pen & paper. Whatever feels easiest!
• I brain-dump EVERYTHING. No filter. If it’s in my head, it goes on the list. 🙈
• I split my list into categories (work, home, etc.) so I’m not staring at a million things at once.
• My daily list is SHORT—like, 5-10 things max. If it’s not urgent, it waits!
• I star the most important stuff and estimate how long each task will take. (Yes, I give myself breaks!)
• Big, scary tasks? I break ‘em down into bite-sized steps. Feels way less overwhelming!
• I make my list look cute or fun—colorful pens, sticky notes, whatever keeps me motivated.
• I keep my list where I’ll see it ALL the time. Bathroom mirror, purse, car—no hiding from it!
