Achieving Goals with Checklists and the 80/20 Rule 📝✨
I’m a huge fan of checklists—they help me keep track of what’s important and give me a sense of accomplishment as I cross off completed tasks. I use the Todoist app on my phone and computer, and honestly, I’ve got everything in there, from big goals to small daily tasks like brushing my teeth and making my bed. It might sound silly, but it keeps me grounded and focused.
I also swear by the 80/20 rule: spend 20% of your effort to get 80% of the impact. This means prioritizing tasks that give you the biggest bang for your buck. For example, when I hit the gym, I focus on the big three: squats, deadlifts, and bench press. If I only have 30 minutes, I want to maximize my time.

Sustainment Tasks: These are essentials like exercising, eating healthy, sleeping well, and taking care of loved ones. Neglecting these can drain your energy and resources, making it harder to pursue your dreams.
Tasks That Eliminate Distractions: These help streamline sustainment tasks, like meal prepping or using Instacart to save time. It’s all about making life easier and more efficient.
Tasks That Move You Forward: These are the big dreams—starting a non-profit, building a family, or buying a home. Focus on steps that align with your vision.
