What It Was Like Writing “Him” — The Truth Behind the Pages Writing Him: The Man I Loved. The Man I Feared. wasn’t just putting words on paper… it was reliving moments I once tried to forget. Every chapter took me back to places I had already fought so hard to escape. The fear. The confusion. The love that didn’t feel like love anymore. The silence I lived in. There were times I had to stop writing because it became too real again. But I kept going. Because this story isn’t just mine. It’s for every woman who has ever questioned her worth… Every person who stayed longer than they should have… Every survivor who is still trying to find their way back to themselves. I didn’t write this book for attention. I wrote it for awareness. For healing. For truth. Domestic violence doesn’t always look the way people expect it to. Sometimes it hides behind “I love you.” Sometimes it sounds like “I’ll change.” Sometimes it feels like hope… until it doesn’t. If sharing my story helps even one person feel less alone or find the strength to walk away… then every painful word was worth it. You are not alone. And you are stronger than you think. — BonitaBlue 💙 #DomesticViolenceAwareness #SurvivorStory #HealingJourney #TrueStory #WomenSupportingWomen

The power of community and support! We #ALL need help at one point or another in life. #Exodus17:12 🫴 "When Moses' hands grew heavy, they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, and Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side and one on the other, so his hands were steady until the sun went down." 💪 This is a powerful picture of community and support, isn't it? Moses' story is a great example of how we can't do it alone. When he's tired, Aaron and Hur hold his hands up, and Israel prevails. It's a reminder that we all need people who'll lift us up and support us, especially when we're weary. Don't you just love the people who hold your hands up! 👏 How can I "hold up your hands"? 🫴🙏🙌 #poweroftheprayingwoman #prayingwarrior #holdinghands #truestory #thankyouforyoursupport 🎉 🙏🙏🙏

Pain changed my dna. Walls fortified. Trust never restored but erased. #truestory June 2, 2011 Betrayal is a destructive force that leaves many ruins in its path. Betrayal changes everything. Relationships and all those affected will never be the same again. The Damage Done can be irreparable. Trust is lost. Wounds run deep. Anger persists. Hearts are broken. Self-protective walls are erected. Pain is long and lasting. And we wonder, " can we ever trust again? can trust ever be restored? do wounds ever heal? Will anger cease to exist? Can Hearts be repaired? Will the self-protective walls ever come down? Does the pain ever go away?!". Not only does betrayal change relationships, it changes individuals. Something happens inside of them. They might find it difficult to ever trust again. They might be more guarded and protective of themselves for fear of being vulnerable again. They might learn to be more disturbing and less naive. They're expectations of others may change. They may reflect on their own role and responsibilities in the relationship and what went wrong. They might try to understand, empathize, and forgive. They may be motivated to grow from the experience and learn more about themselves and others. The pain of betrayal is very real and has a significant impact on the lives of all those who have experienced it. It is one of those painful life experiences that the power to change people's hearts and lives forever. If you have ever been betrayed you cannot change what has happened to you or make the pain go away. You need time to grieve and feel angry. You need time to be comforted and encouraged. You also need time to restore your faith in yourself and others. Betrayal hurts and there's no vast and easy way to heal from its effects. It takes more than time. It takes a heart that will not harden. It takes a commitment to believe in others again. Relationships do change as a result of betrayal But ultimately how it changes you is what matters the most! My old job kept paying me for months after I quit and I never said a word 👍

It's a few years ago, I quit my retail job. I put in my two weeks, said my goodbyes, and honestly thought that was the end of it. But then, a couple of weeks later, I checked my bank account, and boom, there was a paycheck. At first, I just figured it was for leftover hours or something like that. But then another check hit my account. And another. This went on for about four months straight. I would just be sitting at home, watching Netflix, and suddenly, a direct deposit would hit my account like I had just worked two full 40-hour weeks. I was pretty paranoid they would eventually want it back, so I didn't go crazy spending it. But I definitely used it for rent and groceries, which was a huge help at the time. Then, one day, the money just stopped showing up, and I never heard a single word from them. It's been years now, and I still wonder if they ever even realized what happened. Or if some payroll system just kept me on autopilot until someone finally noticed. It's one of those wild stories I sometimes tell, and people never believe me. #WorkStories #UnexpectedMoney #RetailLife #PayrollGlitch #TrueStory #Mystery #money #Wages #JobCareer #Job
