Ex-Employer Freaks Out Over My Unemployment Claim! 😱

Hey everyone, I really need some advice. Last year, I worked two jobs here in New York. The first job ended on good terms early in the year, and the second job fired me in November. When I filed for unemployment, I listed both employers as required. Now, my first employer—the one I left amicably—is suddenly upset. They got a notice about my unemployment claim and are demanding I withdraw it, even though I never filed against them. They’re worried about paying something they don’t owe, but I only received a few payments and I’m not even on unemployment anymore. I’m really stressed and confused. Why are they coming after me?
