briana09+FollowI used to live above a Janissary graveyard in Istanbul. Here’s what happened one night.Ten years ago, I lived in a tiny old apartment near Taksim Square — built on one of Istanbul’s steepest streets. My back windows didn’t open to a yard like normal... they opened to a graveyard. Just four or five Janissary graves on a hill that was basically unreachable. Creepy, but I didn’t care. Sometimes I’d hear weird noises — cracks, footsteps, bangs — but nothing ever happened. Until one night around 4 a.m., while I was gaming. I suddenly heard a massive bang. Grabbed a knife, searched the house — everything locked, nothing moved. Then I realised I hadn’t checked the bathroom. The door was locked — from the inside. No windows. No vents. Dead centre of the apartment. I freaked out, got my pistol, called the landlady upstairs. She came down with her spare keys. We opened the door… Lights on. Room empty. Later I found out the building was literally on top of an old Janissary graveyard and training ground. Still the weirdest, most unexplainable night of my life. #DidThatHappen #DoYouBelieve #Horror #Unexplained 201Share
