Meet Toast 🐾 One of the newest little souls to join the Barks of Love family. Toast didn’t have the easiest start. He spent his entire life living in a trailer with more than 10 other dogs, never really knowing what it felt like to have space, attention, or the comforts of a loving home. But that chapter is behind him now. Toast is safe in a foster home where he’s slowly learning that the world can be kind. With each passing day he’s becoming more curious, more confident, and starting to show his sweet personality. This adorable boy will be available for adoption soon, and we can’t wait to watch him continue to blossom into the happy dog he was always meant to be. Hi I’m Kardashian — yes, that Kardashian. I’m glamorous, a little dramatic (in the cutest way), and I absolutely know I’m adorable. I’m a 2.5-month-old, 5-pound female mixed terrier with a big personality packed into a tiny body. I may be small, but I’ve already mastered some important skills — I’m crate trained and potty pad trained (because even divas have good manners). I’m currently living my best foster life, practicing my runway walk (also known as zoomies), giving out the sweetest puppy kisses, and perfecting my cuddle game. Tucker is a beautiful chocolate brown Bichon/Poodle mix who is 9 years old and 8 pounds. He is ready to start a new life in a family. Tucker is a stick by you kind of boy with a happy prance and tail curled up over his back. He has a happy, life-is-good attitude about him. Tucker does have a Grade 4 heart murmer but does not require meds and it doesn't seem to affect his life at all. He was released from the breeding life so is working on his potty training but I'm pretty impressed how quickly he is picking it up. Tucker will crate quietly during the night. He will also be in his crate quietly during the day if you have a reason to put dogs a way for a while. Speaking of which - he likes other dogs also. Tucker is up to date on his shots, neutered, and had a recent dental. This boy is ready to go and is just waiting for you to put in your application. Welcome to Coco's Heart Cub! Cub is an adult male Pomeranian with a fluffy coat and striking eyes that make him truly stand out. At about 16 pounds, he’s a little bigger than the typical Pom, but that just means there’s more of him to love. Cub is a gentle, shy boy who really thrives with other dogs around. In fact, he will require a home with another dog, big or small, because he finds comfort and confidence in canine companionship. Watching him follow the lead of a dog friend is the sweetest thing. Since arriving in rescue, Cub has been making great progress. He does well in his kennel, has learned to use the stairs to go outside for potty breaks, and is continuing to improve with potty training every day. With consistency and encouragement, he’s well on his way. He will need practice with walking on a leash, so a secured area where he can go potty would be important in the meantime. Cub’s beautiful coat is easy to maintain and doesn’t mind being brushed, which is a nice bonding activity with him. What Cub needs most is a patient, loving home that will give him the time and reassurance he needs to keep building confidence and feeling safe.
