Women are born with the ability to love
In 1040, Earl Leofric of Coventry, England, married Godiva.
The earl imposed heavy taxes on the local citizens to support the British army's campaign, which made Godiva unhappy.
The earl was angry, thinking that his wife was being inappropriate by worrying about a bunch of commoners.
After Godiva pleaded with him, the Earl angrily declared, “Unless you ride naked on horseback through the streets of the city, I will not reduce the taxes.”
He believed that his dignified and virtuous wife would never agree to such an absurd demand. However, the next morning, Lady Godiva removed her nightgown, mounted her horse completely naked, and left the manor.
Gudivah covered her body only with her long hair and rode around the streets for a long time, but all the people kept their doors and windows closed, refusing to come out. The streets and alleys were deserted, as if the city were empty.
Women seem to be born with a great sense of empathy for the suffering around them, and they are also willing to sacrifice themselves to save those in distress. This world truly cannot do without women.
