From Panic at the Wheel to Confident Driver: My Journey Overcoming Fear
Getting my license was anything but easy. About three years ago, I hesitated even to get my learner’s permit, but my brother’s encouragement pushed me forward. My first few lessons were rough—I even had a panic attack behind the wheel and my instructor lost his cool. That experience almost made me quit, but I kept going, starting with parking lots, then quiet cemeteries, and finally residential streets.
It took months, and I renewed my permit several times, but with steady practice and support from my family, I slowly built confidence. When I finally passed my road test, I realized how much I’d grown. If you’re scared to drive, start small and keep at it. You’ll get there!
