why do guys disappear when things get real?

I’m done with the “fun and flirty” phase. I want real love, stability, someone who actually wants a future—not just a few cute dates and then ghost mode. Guys always seem super into me at first—compliments, effort, all that. Then once things start to feel a little deeper, they dip. Every. Single. Time. I'm not asking for a proposal on date three, but is long-term interest that rare? Is it me? Is there a secret portal where serious people meet? I need to change my approach or mindset, clearly.
