You'd think getting a beautiful lawn in NYC would be a struggle with the crazy weather, but it's actually not that hard once you know the game plan. Here's what I did: Early March, I put down weed stop—got those weeds before they even showed up. April—lime to balance the pH and help the grass grow strong. April to May—time to throw down new grass seeds! Once the grass came up, I added some fertilizer to help it thrive. June—bug spray! Just one application of Bug B Gon did the trick. July/August, mushrooms? DiseaseX to stop that mold! October/November—fall fertilizer to prep for winter. If animals start digging, I treat for bugs—don’t want any bald patches!
