I Log Every Bite. I Still Feel Out of Control.

Dinner is cold by the time I finish logging it. I tap in each ingredient, double-check the numbers, and still wonder if I missed something. I used to think tracking meant I was in charge. Now it just means I can’t eat without a calculator. Sometimes I stare at my plate, trying to remember what hunger even feels like—if I’m eating because I want to, or because the app says I can. The more I measure, the less I trust myself. Every meal is a test I’m scared to fail.
