Jellyfish Salad and Burgers? Tried Both for the First Time 🦑

Picked up a pack of salted jellyfish from the Asian market out of curiosity. The prep took a bit—had to rinse and soak it for over an hour to get rid of the saltiness. For the salad, I tossed the jellyfish with sautéed garlic, green onions, and a mix of chili oil and soy sauce. The texture is surprisingly crunchy and it soaks up the flavors well. Tried something different and made jellyfish burgers too. Mixed mashed potatoes with some seasoning, stuffed them with spicy jellyfish, and fried until crispy. The contrast between the soft potato and the chewy jellyfish is pretty wild. Definitely a unique ingredient to experiment with. #jellyfishrecipes #asiancooking #foodadventures #Food #Cooking
